How to wash your bags?
Use a delicate hand wash program on your washing machine. Set it to a low temperature (20°C) and a low spin speed. Place it in a wash bag. When in doubt, gently hand wash the bag with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
Do not use fabric softener: it can alter the texture and durability of the material.
How to dry your bags?
Do not tumble dry. Instead, let your bag air dry in a shaded area. Open it and hang it upside down so that the water can drain. This also helps the bag retain its shape.
Avoid placing your bag near heating appliances such as radiators or vents. Heat can cause the material to lose its original shape.
Do not dry it in direct sunlight. Excessive exposure can cause colors to fade and fibers to weaken over time.
How to iron your bags?
Do not iron your Zélie & Co. Heat can damage the delicate yarn.
Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals. These can cause discoloration and weaken the fibers.
How to properly store your bags?
Store your Zélie & Co bag in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.
For prolonged storage, lightly stuff the bag with tissue paper or a soft towel to help it maintain its shape and place it in its dust bag.
Keep your bag away from rough or sharp objects to avoid snagging or pulling the crochet mesh.
